Our Chi Wai Summer Event;

The Summer Bash.

We met up at Dunally Primary School where we set up our rounders pitch.

Once everyone was there we split into two teams, “Team Yoda” and “Team Mine”

Then each team took it in turns either fielding or batting.

It was a fantastic afternoon with everyone enjoying themselves and getting to know each other outside of the training academy environment.

Halftime came with a bit to eat, some much-needed fluids, and the chance to rest for 20 minutes.

Then we were off again to both teams’ second innings. Some of the children were beginning to falter now and decided to go off and enjoy Dunalley’s playgrounds and climbing frames.

But we still had a great game but there could only be one winner…

Well done to everyone who came along, supported the event, and joined in. Without you all we could not have run it.

We are now looking forward to our next event at Christmas. We are hoping to get together for a game of Skittles and again have a fantastic time!
